More fan tokens for us! By entering into a global license and regional sponsorship agreement with UEFA, Socios.com has taken a crucial step in securing universal acceptance of its fan token concept by sporting organisations. Socios.com has been appointed as the official fan token partner of the crucial UEFA Champions League. Furthermore, Socios.com will be the official fan token partner for the Europa League, Europa Conference League, and UEFA Super Cup tournaments.

Socios.com has also been named a Champions League and Super Cup regional sponsor in the US for the 2021-2024 season. This is a big partnership as the brand will benefit from brand exposure in the US via virtual perimeter boards. They will also broadcast sponsorship billboards and digital sponsorship rights.

Learn more about UEFA, including their partnership with Sportradar as the Champions League’s first official betting data partner.

This partnership follows UEFA’s public request for blockchain-based goods, and Socios.com will be one of the very first companies in the developing blockchain field to collaborate with UEFA.

More than just tokens

Holders of Socios’ club tan tokens will now be eligible to earn additional fan tokens for UEFA men’s club competitions. UEFA will reward fan token holders with VIP flights to UEFA season discussion festivities and the opportunity to visit UEFA’s offices. Fans can also have virtual meet-and-greets with UEFA stars, match tickets, gear, and souvenirs.

The arrangement with Socios.com was revealed just 24 hours after UEFA announced that it will provide 30,000 free tickets to this season’s finals of the Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, and Women’s Champions League.

Analysts believe that UEFA may consider offers for national team competitions from cryptocurrency-related companies. This is conceivable if the sector structure includes a currency as opposed to a payment method. Nonetheless, UEFA’s support for Socios.com will lead to additional action. Socios.com’s fan token arrangements with more than 120 athletic organisations are expanding. These agreements will apply to premier football clubs, F1, the UFC, as well as NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLS organisations. In addition, LaLiga has established an arrangement with Socios.com.

Other plans include the establishment of a new regional sponsorship tier for the 2021-24 Champions League cycle. These collaborations comprised media, digital, and rights deals, with sponsors enjoying broadcast visibility on LED boards via regional virtual feeds for all Champions League knockout matches and the annual Super Cup. Not only that, but virtual replacement technology is part of the activation for Champions League sponsors at the top levels. Through this activation, they enable businesses to focus their messaging on their own important markets.
