Samba Digital is a leading international sports marketing agency that partners with rights holders to establish and enhance their global presence across diverse regions such as LatAm, the US, Africa & MENA. We specialize in managing localized content, PR & communications, and commercial practices to engage new audiences across a wide range of sports, including football, rugby, tennis, and many more.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sports Digital Strategist to join our team at Samba Digital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital sports and business landscape and a proven track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies.

As a Senior Sports Digital Strategist at Samba Digital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing initiatives within the sports sector. You will leverage your experience in sports digital marketing, whether in a club or agency setting, to contribute to RFPs, craft compelling technical offers, and devise innovative campaigns and activations. This role is instrumental in driving our digital strategy to new heights in the sports and entertainment industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– RFP Participation: Actively engage in the RFP process, contributing insights and strategies to craft winning proposals.

– Technical Offer Drafting: Develop detailed technical offers that outline our digital marketing capabilities, tailor-made to each client’s needs.

– Campaign and Activation Development: Design and propose digital marketing campaigns and activations that resonate with sports audiences, driving engagement and fan community growth.

– Industry Expertise: Utilize your sports digital experience to provide expert advice and insights, keeping our strategies ahead of market trends.

– Data and Analytics: Provide relevant insights to monitor metrics that substantiate strategies and effectively exploit distinctive selling propositions to gain a competitive advantage

– Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital strategies.

– Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present proposals, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sports digital marketing, preferably within a sports club or a digital marketing agency.

– Proven track record in developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies in the sports industry.

– Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms relevant to sports audiences.

– Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

– Fluent in English

– Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
