We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Social Media to join our team and lead our global social media efforts.


The mission

The Head of Social Media’s primary responsibility is to oversee the agency’s global social media efforts, provide expertise to support client activities, and lead the teams in maintaining high service quality and client satisfaction. The Head of Social Media also ensures the efficient use of all available resources while improving our expertise and capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational Monitoring:

  • Day-to-day management of a 70+ people team of social media managers and community managers.
  • Overall supervision of social media teams and all projects related to community & content management.
  • Monitoring the activity of the agency’s key accounts: strategic planning, 
  • production of SOW, ownership of quality of service delivery, and target achievement.
  • Regular communication, activity planning, and monitoring with the agency’s main divisions: customer service, production, analytics.
  • Content ideation and propositions to internal teams.
  • Management and monitoring of the client account resources.
  • Setting KPIs and follow-up on performance and improvement.
  • Supervise the delivery of client’s reports and analyze account performance.

Strategic Recommendations:

  • Design social strategies for the clients.
  • Assist with editorial and platform-specific strategies.
  • Produce and present strategic recommendations.
  • Support strategic response to RFPs with social media expertise.

Trend Intelligence and Expertise:

  • Monitor social media trends, market intelligence, and technological developments for targeting clients and markets.
  • Design and implement Social Media training for our internal teams.
  • Write articles, slideshares, etc., to convey the agency’s vision and expertise.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a sports marketing or digital agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of the sports industry and its digital landscape.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing remote, decentralized teams.
  • Proficient in social media platforms, tools, and analytics software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work flexibly across different time zones.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
