Serie A, the famous Italian soccer league, has established an arrangement with Stats Perform, a sports data, and technology business. They intend to prolong their betting and data rights arrangement through 2024 as a result of this relationship. Thanks to this new partnership, Stats Perform now covers all Serie A matches. Not only that, this deal will cover the Coppa Italia knockout event, and the Supercoppa by signing this three-year contract.

This new collaboration is Serie A’s latest intriguing deal. Previously, at the end of July, the club had issued a new tender. This new tender prompted them to seek bids for their betting and data packages before forming a partnership with Stats Perform, which they have now secured.

Stats Perform will now fulfill a variety of packages, including betting streaming and match data rights on a global scale, as well as match data rights in Italy. This sports technology firm will now take over the league betting rights from the IMG agency, which has been in charge of the rights since 2018. This will not only boost Serie A but it is also estimated to be worth $428 million per year.

This isn’t the first time that Stats Perform has landed a major contract. They’ve made deals with the Premier League, La Liga, and Major League Soccer (MLS), to name a few. Serie A has also been active, signing a new virtual advertising partnership with ISG that will run through 2024. The firm’s virtual display technology, which projects sponsor logos onto televised sports programs, allows Serie A to offer different companies in different broadcast territories.
