Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our team in France. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and achieving specified sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of social media, content production, and digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, enduring partnerships with clients. Conduct regular meetings to understand their needs, deliver presentations, and provide strategic advice.
- Project Coordination: Ensure projects are delivered on-brand and aligned with client goals. Manage day-to-day client interactions and maintain detailed records of meetings and presentations.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, negotiate contracts, and meet revenue targets. Pursue upsell opportunities and ensure client contracts are renewed and up-sold annually.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and competition to facilitate smart, strategic decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Country Manager and operations teams to deliver solutions effectively.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account or project management within a marketing agency, preferably in the sports industry.
- Proven track record of managing diverse marketing projects and accounts, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
- A passion for sports and a keen interest in staying updated with best sports marketing practices.
- Fluent in both French and English.
Skills
- Highly fluent in written and spoken English to facilitate seamless interaction with international teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with client objectives.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, focusing on delivering high-quality results.

- Fully remote agency with decentralised teams working both synchronously and asynchronously.

- 12-month renewable freelance contract.
