Expectations for ICE Barcelona 2025

For the first time ICE, the biggest iGaming event with more than 55,000 participants, will happen in Barcelona and, like most of the industry, I´m excited to check how it´s going to be.

I´ve attended ICE in 2023 in London and it was massive, with a global audience, great business and network opportunities and that’s what I expect for this year’s event. In terms of roundtable discussions, we have some important topics that will be covered this time, such as,  ‘Delivering turbo charge transformation’ which will address the dynamism and transformations of the iGaming industry and ‘Regulation and revitalisation in Latin America’, very relevant for the current moment in some LatAm markets.

For us from Samba Digital, conferences such as ICE are key to meet face to face with our current clients and contacts, but also to expand our network, understand their needs and discuss new solutions to keep evolving within the industry. Aligned to that, there are two new services at Samba that are key for the operators: One is Live marketing/activations and the second is Data & Analytics for iGaming, which is very relevant to understand the players behaviour, competitors and also to track sponsorship performances and ROI.

ICE will be the first event after the Brazilian regulation, so it will be interesting to discuss with people the first impacts, changes and perspectives in the medium term. Overall, the conference  promises to be great in terms of networking and to check the industry’s latest developments.
