After a historic final, Argentina became World Champion for the third time in its history. It marked the end of a dream for the French people, but an unmissable opportunity for Ligue 1 Uber Eats to pay tribute to one of its greatest ambassadors, Lionel Messi. Samba Digital proposed a creative and promotional concept to greet the GOAT and his teammates on their return to Buenos Aires.


The day after the World Cup final, a poster campaign in the streets of Buenos Aires was deployed by Samba Digital’s teams. The message of the campaign was obviously to greet the victory of the Argentine team as heroes, reminding them that if the throne was now in the colours of the Albiceleste, the new king was expected very soon on the pitches of Ligue 1, using a mischievous nod to Lionel Messi’s nickname, the GOAT. The campaign was deployed on nine billboards in the Argentine capital, located in key traffic areas in Buenos Aires. More than 12 million people were reached by these billboards during the campaign, which culminated in a day of celebration for the World Champions on December 20.
