Two of the four Grand Slam tournaments of the tennis season have already been played: the Australian Open, from January 8th through 29th, and, more recently, Roland-Garros, whose main draw started on May 22nd and ended on June 11th. In addition to Novak Djokovic winning both tournaments, there is also a coincidence in the digital performances of the official pages of the two tournaments on Instagram: a concentration of interactions during the tournament compared to the rest of the year.

In the case of Roland-Garros, 79% of all Instagram interactions in 2023 took place within the 21 days of the competition:

The Australian Open had a very similar performance: 76% of all interactions took place during the 22 days of the tournament:

Another period of good growth for these pages comes while another Grand Slam is being played; this can be seen in the performance of the official accounts of the four Grand Slams. When looking at engagement, they all show increases in their growth, benefiting from more of a focus on the sport at that time
