Sevilla FC x Samba — Arabic Social Media Strategy
Mission
Samba Digital partnered with Sevilla FC to build and grow the club’s presence across the Arab-speaking world, taking over the management of their Arabic Twitter (X) and Facebook accounts in February.
Sevilla has a long and storied history with Arab players, giving the club a genuine and natural connection to this audience. Our mission was to activate that cultural affinity and turn it into a thriving, engaged community — with a strategy rooted in authenticity, local relevance, and innovation.

Approach
Samba deployed a community-first strategy tailored specifically to Arab football fans:
- Arabic Account Management — Took full ownership of Sevilla’s Arabic X and Facebook accounts, aligning content rhythm and tone to the expectations of Arab-speaking audiences.
- Player-Led Storytelling — Leveraged both former and current players with ties to the Arab world to create content that resonated emotionally and culturally with fans.
- Format Innovation — Pushed creative boundaries through AI-powered video content, elevating production quality and generating stronger engagement across platforms.
- End-of-Season Momentum — Built a sustained editorial cadence through the final stretch of the season, maximising community growth and interaction during the most emotionally charged moments in the club calendar.
