Mission

Since January 2025, the San Antonio Spurs partnered with Samba Digital to build a credible and lasting presence in the French market, ahead of the franchise’s games in Paris.

Our mission went beyond growing numbers: we set out to establish the Spurs within French basketball culture, with a tone, rhythm and editorial approach that truly felt local, while remaining fully aligned with the team’s global brand identity.

Samba was responsible for creating and launching the Spurs’ dedicated French accounts on Instagram and TikTok, reinforcing the existing French audience on Facebook, and delivering a fully organic, community-driven strategy with zero paid budget.

Approach

Over 13 months of collaboration, Samba deployed a local-first strategy to authentically integrate the Spurs into French basketball culture:
