We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our operational team in France. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sports and have solid experience in a club and/or agency environment, with a proven track record of delivering impactful results on a large scale.

What You’ll Do

The Social Media Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead and develop the French social media teams, ensuring their effective operation and growth. These teams are crucial to the success of our social media initiatives and cover the agency’s key accounts. The Social Media Manager collaborates with a local Project Manager, supervises client teams, and reports to the Head of Delivery.

Team Monitoring

  • Day-to-day management of a 40+ people team of community managers and content specialists.
  • Oversee job descriptions, planning, recruitment, and regular updates.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Customer Relations

  • Manage all French clients receiving our social media services.
  • Maintain regular client communication.
  • Organize and lead weekly meetings with clients and social media teams.

Editorial and Creative Oversight

  • Collaborate with the local Project Managers, clients teams and other internal stakeholders to monitor publications and manage content plans.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to enhance creativity and innovation.

Social Media Expertise

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of platforms including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, TikTok, and YouTube.

International Scope

  • Understand the global dynamics of sporting entities.
  • Work effectively with international teams to address global challenges.

Performance Monitoring

  • Oversee reporting and performance analysis.
  • Educate and raise awareness among teams about social media performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For

  • A skilled professional with 3-5 years of experience in leading social media teams.
  • A leader with a strong focus on managing people, operations, team organisation, workflow planning, and activity monitoring.
  • A person with excellent interpersonal skills for effective internal and external communication.
  • An expert with an extensive understanding of social media platforms, current trends, social listening tools, and analytics software.
  • Fluency in French and English both written and verbal.
