Job Posting: PR Specialist – Latin American Spanish Countries

Our specialists manage localized content, PR & Comms and commercial practices to develop and engage new audiences.

Every day we reach over 50 million fans using tried-and-tested industry processes. Using over 15 years of local experience, we also find regional partners for our top customers.

We are now looking for a PR Manager based in Latin America (Spanish countries) to coordinate our PR Strategy in the region (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile ..).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will focus predominantly on managing Samba PR Services and their main objectives will be to improve reach and awareness of our customers profiles. The successful candidate will work from home the majority of the time.

MAIN ROLES

– Support and advise on strategy and communication planning.

– Search and pitch interviews, articles, content and other PR opportunities for our clients.

– Place lifestyle & corporate press releases from our clients to relevant media.

– Recommend initiatives to activate media through creative and innovative ideas.

– Execute and coordinate media/influencer involvement in customer activations/events (pre, during, post).

– Create and update mailing lists of customer-related press (sport, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, etc.).

– Build a database of influencers in the local market.

– Support on seeding products in key customers moments during the season.

– Identify and track KPIs to measure results.

– Identify OOH and other advertising opportunities for our clients in Latin America.

PROFILE

– Professional with good experience in PR in sport
– Good existing networks with media, publishers, brands and influencers across Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, etc)
– Well developed communication skills
– Team player with a high sense of responsibility
– Media Buying experience
